Working on a fruitful collab with the amazing Quiet Company.
More to be announced soon!
"Popping colours, body positivity & reckless nudity?
Sophie Doutrelignes art is exactly what I didn't know Quiet Company needed. She's one of the new artists I will present work from in the coming weeks. We'll be using a new, waste-consious type of display, exiting times!"

Every two months an artist or curator selects his / her favorite artworks on the website of kunstwerkt.be. This time illustrator/artist Sara Bomans highlighted five works out of nearly 20.000 and my drawing 'child' got selected! Still glowing with pride!
Check it out on www.kunstwerkt.be and the paper version of art magazine 'Kunstletters.'

My work will be exposed @ Vitrines d'Amour ("windows of love") in the city centre of Ghent. A festival that wants to create an artistic alternative for the cheesy commercial Valentine's Day decorations that can be found during this period of exponential love.
Come find my interpretation at the eccentric hairdressers / girlbosses of Cut, Paste, Paint!
When? 8 - 14 of February 2018
Where? Cut, Paste, Paint (Gebroeders Vandeveldestraat 24/001, 9000 Gent)

I was invited to participate in Kunstwerkt's Tattoosalon @ CC De Schakel in Waregem. People could insert their arms into a big hole where they'd be surprised with an orginal tattoo by me or Lemon Lizzie.

I made the artwork for Uncle Wellington's Wives' single The Catcher.
"The song stays pretty consistent in its mellow singer-songwriter composition, really letting the vocals take reign of the track. But in looking at this song, it is also important to look at the artwork that goes with it. The band asked Sophie Doutreligne to create the artwork and the overall cool undertones of the painting serve a great base for “The Catcher”. The song serves as a response and a comfort to the painting and it gives the song a warmer vibe." (Abduction Radiation, Los Angeles)
